The West Highland White & Scottish Terrier Club (or the Westie & Scottie Club as it is affectionately known) was formed by the joining of the West Highland White Terrier Club and Scottish Terrier Clubs. It now has a membership of around 300 people, both in New Zealand and internationally.

The club distributes the “Black & White Tales” newsletter each quarter to members. This publication keeps members informed and entertained on all things Westie and Scottie, advises them of coming events organised by the committee, results from local dog shows, and also includes photos and articles sent in by readers.

Loss of Patron and Life Member

It is with great sadness we advise our Club members of the passing of our patron Judy Sargent. Judy's contribution to the Scottish Terrier breed over 3 decades, and the Club has been incalculable. Judy never stopped showing true terrier spirit right to the end. Our thoughts and love are with her family and many many friends at this time.
